This post is dedicated to give you a little bit of information about me. That’s what the title says so that’s what I’ll do. My name is Scott and I’m an affiliate marketer. This essentially means making money online by selling other peoples products. I build a website and get it ranked high in the search engines and when someone buys a product that I’m promoting which they are interested in then I get a percentage of the sale. It’s being a salesman for that product or company. What I really like about this is that it’s unlike your typical sales job.
Typically in sales you would have to speak with people and show them the product, which gets old. With affiliate marketing I don’t have to speak with anyone. The trick is getting the product traffic, or in other words in front of many people. The best way to do this is by being good at search engine optimization (SEO). Well SEO is one of the components, doing research to find buyer related keywords that you can rank for is also a vital piece of the puzzle. Using Seo for the most searched upon search engine is Google, second is Youtube.
To get back to the point of sales. I don’t even consider this sales, it’s actually presenting people with products they are already interested in. That’s why they are at my site. Then just talk about the product and they can decide if it’s right for them. No need to sell anyone anything, if they want it they will get it, if they don’t they won’t. Let them close themselves. But my favorite part about it is, once you make the site it can always make money for you. That is the magic in affiate marketing. Find your niche, put up the site, get it ranked very high top three or first page minimum. Then it keeps making money for you month after month. It’s the best store ever! Instead of it being a store just on one corner it’s everywhere, and the overhead is incredibly cheap. Your return on investment (ROI) is through the roof. So if your interested give affiliate marketing a try, it can change your life in a positive way. Not only financially, but job security, and freedom of lifestyle. You can work from anywhere. For example if you choose to take a vacation or travel somewhere, you can and still make money. You can still make money from all your sites that are already up so if you don’t want to work you don’t have to. And if you just want to go somewhere else and work you can. It’s quite amazing.
